For those of you who don’t know me let me introduce myself (for those of you who do know me, maybe you might learn something about me you didn’t already know!)
WHO IS LESLIE ROBERTSON?
I am a Can Fit Pro CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER and OWNER of PRIME PERSONAL TRAINING STUDIO in OTTAWA (8+ years of experience)
I am a GRADUATE of The University of Southern Mississippi (B.Sc in Human Performance, B.Ed. in Physical Education K-12)
I have a COMPETITIVE side (played competitive club basketball and volleyball growing up and played 4 years Division I Volleyball at University of Southern Mississippi)
I LOVE being PHYSICALLY FIT and staying active (lifting weights, running/training for half marathons, yoga, hiking)
I am PASSIONATE about HELPING PEOPLE reach their goals (lose weight, trim inches, eat healthier, learn to run/train for a race, become a ‘yogi’, find ‘balance’ in life, gain confidence, etc) and setting new ones!
I am an EXPERT at TEACHING people how to live a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE (proper nutrition, being active daily, consistent workout routine, getting plenty of sleep and enjoying life to the fullest) as I PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH!!
I KNOW WHAT IT TAKES to lose weight…I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS to consistently stick to a workout routine…I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE UPS AND DOWNS of finding out what to eat and what not to eat…I am a weight loss success story myself!
I love to LAUGH and HAVE FUN and ENJOY SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS
WHY SHOULD YOU READ MY BLOG?
For all the reasons listed above! I walk the walk and talk the talk…if you want to know how to lose weight, learn how to exercise properly, get better at running, learn to do yoga, eat healthier, feel better or all of the above and more, you have come to the right place. It is my job to help people work towards achieving their goals everyday and I am constantly setting new goals for myself as well. So whether you are someone who is interested in learning some new workout routines, looking for inspiration to lose weight (10, 25, 50 lbs), want to start doing yoga or train for a race I hope that my blog will help lead you in the right direction.
WHY AM I WRITING A BLOG?
To inspire people to set goals and stick to them; to offer advice/tips on proper nutrition, working out in the gym (weight lifting routines) and outside of the gym (yoga and running). In other words to help people GET FIT….WITH LES!!
